Call for Volunteers
A variety of volunteers are needed throughout the tournament. Although we do have many dedicated volunteers who have worked in past years, we always strive to have more volunteers than we need, just in case.We primarily need scorekeepers to cover fifty-one hours of qualification rounds in six divisions. At busy times in certain divisions, working more than two hours straight is a recipe for insanity; therefore, more volunteers means more rotation and shorter shifts. Scorekeepers will be provided with guidelines and a brief training session.
If you are interested in volunteering during the tournament, please review the schedule and send an e-mail to info@papa.org. Please note that we prefer volunteers who are local to this area, and especially those with prior experience in leagues or tournaments. If you are a player from out of the area, please attend as a player first and foremost.
